Hello! My name is Denise, I am passionate surfer with a love of sharing and introducing others to the sport.
I moved from my hometown in Germany to Tamarindo in 2018 and haven't looked back since. As someone who grew up snowboarding and swimming, I was immediately drawn to surfing and the Pura Vida lifestyle.
My move to Tamarindo sparked my passion for surfing and I quickly fell in love with it. I decided to pair my passion for surfing and teaching, to create Guaria Surf School.
Since opening Guaria Surf School, I have met and given lessons to many amazing people. Whether you are a first timer or someone who is looking to fine tune your skills, I have worked with all ages and skill levels.
